Isle of Wight Open To Aviation
Following a lengthy period of closure it is being reported that both Bembridge and Sandown on the Isle of Wight are once again open for business.

Bembridge, apparently the subject of a dispute between airfield owner and operator, was re-opened Saturday 20th April.

Sandown meanwhile, with its grass runway, fell victim to the inclement weather and has been closed for much of the winter due to waterlogging. Although still appearing as closed in the AIS Aerodrome bulletins, a call to the airfield confirms that it was also re-opened Saturday.
